Mike’s Low-Carb Gourmet Frozen Entrees
I couldn’t find these on my last trip – they may have been
replaced with Life Choice at $3.69 at a much cheaper price than Mike’s.
Life Choice Frozen Dinners
Varies from 12g to 17g total carbs, not net, at $3.69
each.
Heinz One Carb Ketchup
$2.19 for 14 oz.
Kraft CarbWell
$1.39 for a 16.25 oz. container.
Stubb’s Moppin Sauce
Lower carbs than regular barbecue sauce, but doesn’t
compare to Kraft in my house.
Low-carb rolls, bread and bagels
They carry Country Kitchen Lite rolls, and these do have
lower carbs than the regular rolls, unlike most Lite designations. Other bread
brands include: Carb Consider, Pepperidge Farm CarbStyle, Country Kitchen
Lite or Low Carb, Arnold Atkins Carb Counting, lots of choices here! Also
Thomas’s Carb Consider English Muffins and Thomas’s Carb Counting Bagels.
Simply Jif
Simply Jif has less sugar than regular peanut butter. My
kids and my husband prefer this over the more expensive almond butters or
macadamia nut butters.
Cardini’s Caesar Salad Dressing
Makes a great Caesar salad at half the cost of the box brand,
where you can’t use the croutons anyhow. 20 oz. for $5.19, Market Basket has
this for $3.99.
Kraft Carb Well Salad Dressings
$2.59
Atkins Quick Quisine Pesto, Fettuccini Alfredo.
$3.99 a box

Russell Stover Low Carb Chocolate
In bags and boxes. I think the BJs deal is probably
better.
Carb Countdown Milk
This stuff is just great. Most supermarkets are carrying
it now. Stop & Shop’s regular price is 3.29 versus Johnny’s Foodmaster
and Shaw’s regular price of $2.99. Market Basket has it for $2.69.
Powerbar Carb Select Bars
New. I don’t eat bars so if someone would like to review
them for me, I would appreciate it.
Think Thin! Low Carb Bars
Same as above.
Hain Pure Snax CarbFit Twirls
These are the good. My daughter only eats the Nacho Cheese
flavor and not the Cool Ranch flavor. These are more expensive than Market
Basket’s Girlfriend’s Booty.
Robert’s American Gourmet Girlfriends Booty
Good! We like the barbecue flavor. Stop & Shop has
cornered the snack twist market around here. (Note: Could not find these the
last time I was in Stop & Shop. Market Basket carries it though.)
GeniSoy Low Carb Tortilla Chips
Trader Joe’s Low Carb Tortilla Chips are the best out
there. Period.
The Smarter Carb Cookies
Stop & Shop only has the Biscotti brand. Trader Joe’s
has other brands. The Biscotti is good, but more for adult tastes… great with
coffee!. (Didn’t see these my last trip either.)
Walden Farms Low Carb Salad Dressings
These are located in the produce refrigerated section.
$2.99 (I prefer the regular versions of salad dressing like Ken’s or the
Cardini, which are inherently low carb.)
Stop & Shop Lower Carb Cookies
These are in the instore bakery section. These have
reverted to just a Stop & Shop label instead of also showing a brand
name. They also don’t break out sugar alcohols, etc. on the label. I’m not
buying them until they fix this! (Note: This is now fixed!)
Carb Options
Now carries the full line. It is with the regular versions
of the barbecue sauce ($2.59), steak sauce ($3.99), Alfredo & cheese
sauces ($2.99), garden style sauce ($2.99), peanut butters, mayos and salad
dressings ($3.79).
