For those of you who have kids or are on South Beach, or maybe even maintenance with Atkins/low carb, then there is a new product that you should try. My son, who is absolutely addicted to carbs likes it, and I have tried it myself and would be happy eating these every day if I could.
While Thomas has discontinued its low carb bagel, it now has a Light bagel that is much better than Dunkin Donuts low carb bagels. The only other bagel that I have found that has come close is the Stop & Shop Light bagel, but people across the country don't have Stop & Shop, and sometimes I would like to pick up something in a different grocery store to avoid multiple trips. With 14 grams of fiber, this thing should stick to your ribs.

No wonder out society is overweight. If anything comes out that is healthy and promotes a healthy livestyle, it either disappears or it is outrageously expensive. I have been frustrated for quite a while now just trying to find low carb bagels. Back when the Atkins diet came back in fashion, I didn 't have trouble finding low carb bagels, but now I have to search the shelves of each store that I go to trying to find any bagels that say low carb. As a result, I have just stopped eating bagels. I did come across the Dunkin Donut Lower Carb bagel this last week. Give me a break, it's $1.05 if you just buy them, but they tack on an additional $1.35 just to toast it and add cream cheese. Plus, they are lower in carbs but not by much.
