Great Low Carb Recipes on Blaine's Low Carb Kitchen on FitTV
When I was looking for the Protein Power shows on PBS through my Tivo, I discovered a new show on FitTV, Blaine's Low Carb Kitchen. I really like it! I've seen three episodes so far and I've learned a lot about cooking.
Blaine weighed over 300 lbs. and he is trying to get it off by eating low carb. Each week he weighs in after making some delicious food. Of course, you cheer him on as he progresses.
If you can't see the show, FitTV does post all of the low carb recipes here. When I try one of the recipes, I'll post a review. So far I have seen episodes 15, 21, and 22.
If you try a recipe, please let me know how it worked for you.
BTW, they have a great deal right now on Tivos, an 80-hour Tivo for $99 with rebates. If you order one, put in my email, lowcarbfreedom@comcast.net! Maybe I can get some Tivo points! (Love my Tivo!)
His show certainly reminds me of a work in progress. FitTV seems to be trying to hit a niche market. I wish him much success though.

As you know Atkins no longer makes bread products or their bread mix. Does
anyone have information on duplicating Atkins Quick Quisine Bake Mix (proper
amounts of ingredents)? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been doing low carb since May 2006 and lost 6 inches around the waist line. I enjoy Baines recipes. Found some good and others great. With the lost of weight,50 lbs, and a slimmer me I have been inspired. I have found other places on the internet that help with recipes and facts. About.com for one. I am 77 years old, love to cook and have attended cooking schools which helps. Presently my blood pressure is 121/73 and colesteral is way in the normal range according to my Doctor. Which was not case before the low carb way of life. I eat well and serve gourmet foods So for FitTV keep the program and help people live better. Chef Robert here in the Land Of Enchantment

I've created my own low carb recipe book based off Blaine's recipes listed on:
http://fittv.discovery.com/fansites/blaine/recipes/recipes.html
I've lost over 30lbs in the past 2 months. My favorite thing to make is the low carb cinnamon/splenda doughnuts, with a half a cup of Breyer's low carb vanilla ice cream..yumm :)

Looooooove Blaine, he is the low carb king. I just wrote to fittv to bring back his show!
here's how:
Here is the simple 3-step campaign to Save "Blaine's Low-Carb Kitchen":
1. Visit FIT TV's Viewer Relations web site at: http://extweb.discovery.com/viewerRelations and ask them to renew "Blaine's Low-Carb Kitchen" show. Be short, kind, and to the point about your desire for them to continue airing the program. Talk about how the show has personally helped you in your low-carb lifestyle and feel free to share your personal success story while on low-carb, including how "Blaine's Low-Carb Kitchen" has been a part of that.
2. Go to the low-carb bulletin boards and support groups and tell others about this campaign.
3. Personally e-mail and/or call TEN low-carb friends and ask them to begin with step #1.
I hope more people do.

Blaine Jelus is the hottest person alive. His stuffed pizza is good. Lamb is good! Pancetta is good! I have season 1 on dvd. Volume 2 is my favorite of Blaine's Low Carb Kitchen! How much does Blaine Jelus weigh right now?

Why did Blaine Jelus never finish his show?
