I used to always try to have a Mike's Low Carb Gourmet Frozen Dinner in the freezer if I needed a quick hot meal without any work. They were good. I used to get them at Stop & Shop, but now Stop & Shop has replaced them with a lower cost item from Life Choice. I tried the Hearty Meat Loaf, which I think was under $3 versus the $6 cost of Mike's.
It was terrible.
I couldn't finish the meat loaf because it was so bad, and I love meat loaf. The cauliflower was good, but the broccoli turned out way overcooked. It also wasn't that low carb, 14g of net carbs but 8g of sugars in the meal. One of the criticisms against low carb food is that people won't repurchase after the first buy. Well, I'll never repurchase the meat loaf, that is for sure. However, I did purchase their Chicken Parmigian. I'll let you know how that goes. If it turns out to be disappointing, I'll have to rely on readers to review the rest of them.

Julie,
I don't know about all of the meals, but I am looking at the chicken parmesan ingredient list, and it lists maltodextrin (which is basically sugar) and sugar itself. No splenda or other sugar alchohols that I can see.

I tried Homestyle Baked Chicken and thought this was one of the best TV dinners I have ever eaten. It is low calorie but they sure need to work on the sodium. There is no reason they need all that salt in them. I was surprised there was no 800# to call to let them know what you think. I would definitely buy more of the Lifechoice dinners. They are inexpensive and delicious.

I love life choice. I have only tried the meatloaf and I enjoyed it. The carbs are not that much and the meal is good. The meatloaf actually suprised me and was good. The sauce was not the normal tomato sauce but it was good on the meat. I would recommend them to anyone and I have. They liked them too!!

I have type 1 diabetes and limit myself to 45-55 grams of carb a day. The LifeChoice meals were a big help. But I can't find them any more. I live in southern California. Any ideas where they can be found? Any ideas as to how I can contact the manufacturer?

I love Life Choice. I used to buy it at BJ's wholesale and was horrified to find out they had been discontinued. Please, does anyone know how to get them?

I like LifeChoice frozen dinners better than any other brand. I used to purchase them at BJ's in the Rochester NY area. BJ's no longer stocks the brand. Does anyone know where I can purchase these frozen dinners in my area?

I love Life choice dinners- they taste great, especially the Herb Roasted Chicken- the only place I find them is of all places "Big Lot".
