I have never enjoyed a low carb cookbook more than The Low-Carb Gourmet by Karen Barnaby. It makes low carbing sensuous and luxurious with a serious "how to" wrapping. Not only do you get to eat the box of chocolates, you learn how to recreate the experience again and again.

Dr. Atkins started it all. Everyone should read this before they go on the diet.
Fred Pescatore: Feed Your Kids Well : How to Help Your Child Lose Weight and Get Healthy
This is where I learned to use olive oil all the time. Wonderful tips on dealing with kids.
Ruth Glick: Fabulous Lo-Carb Cuisine
I really like this cookbook. I love the recipe for a low-carb crust. She uses the spice thyme quite a lot, but I just substitute that for Old Bay Seasoning or something else.

I have seen the Dreamfields and the heinz ketchup at Shaws in Middletown RI...i havent seen the dreamfields yet at Stop and Shop but they do have the muellers..the dreamfields is much lower in carbs but more pricey

They have the Heinz 1 Carb Ketchup at Super Walmart, up near Woodbury Commons - I got it there

they sell dreamfields pasta at Wegmans in Princeton, nj; on sale now for 2/4.00. This pasta is amazing....
can't find the heinz yet; how does this taste? can't stand the vegetarian ketchup i found that is one carb. Yech!

You live in MA, don't you? I do too. They have the Heinz One Carb ketchup at Roche Brothers in Burlington. It tastes, looks, and squirts like normal ketchup to me. Enjoy!
