Well... what can I say. This product was a huge disapointment. The cookies looked nothing like the cookies on the package. They spread all over the cookie sheet, and I only left the butter out on the counter to soften it. I didn't put it in the microwave. (Goodness, if I had done that I'm sure I would have had cookie mix all over the bottom of my oven.)
The directions were very easy, so I can't see how I messed them up that much. I'm also upset because I do like their brownie mix. (Actually, if I ever tried this again, I'd pour the mix into a brownie pan and make Snickerdoodle brownies.)
Has anyone else had a different experience with this cookie mix?
Nope, I've had essentially the same experience. The CarbSense cookies are all very runny, although they do taste good. I recommend reducing the liquid by at least 1/3 to 1/2, and also using muffin tins to make individual cookies, unless you're willing to have one huge shortbread that you cut into pieces. I like the lemon burst, however...

Actually, I've been pretty lucky. I substituted evaporated milk for the cream, and they turned out awesome! Looked just like the picture (both the lemon and snickerdoodles) and my husband even loves them! Did you cut the mix and the butter until they were really well blended (like a pie crust) before you added the other wet ingredients? I make sure it is mixed really well before baking. They freeze well, too, and still remain soft.
