The only place to find reduced carb pasta (as opposed to low carb pasta) is Market Basket. They are carrying the regional brand Mueller's Reduced Carb Pasta. This stuff is excellent! (I even made a lasagna with it for my brother and sister-in-law who wanted a regular lasagna instead of my usual cabbage lasagna. They had no idea it was lower carb than regular lasagna.) It turns out Mueller's is made by American Pasta Company and is just one of their regional brands, which also includes Golden Grain, R&F, Ronco, Martha Gooch, Luxury, and Anthony's.
According to this AP article (link is perishable),
The reduced carb pasta - rotini, elbows, penne, spaghetti and lasagna, to start with - sells for about $1.99 for a 12-ounce carton, while regular pasta sells for about $1 and the Atkins pasta sells for $3.99, Webster said.A serving size of the reduced carb pasta has 31 grams of carbohydrates, compared with 41 grams in a serving of normal pasta, but American Italian Pasta increased the amount of fiber to 12 grams, up from 2 grams, so that the pasta has 19 so-called "net carbs" per serving.
So, you are paying a big price premium for the Atkins brand, and lower carbs, but lesser taste. (Although, if you are still trying to lose weight, remember, no more than 300 calories of non-natural low carb foods, and this included pasta! If you eat the pasta, then no low carb cookies, etc.)
Also:
The pasta is on shelves in some stores already and should be available almost everywhere by June, Webster said. American Italian Pasta says supermarkets are interested in the product but the company hasn't yet seen sales results."It's all driven by the consumer insight that there's actually a broad swath of the audience, of the consumer base, that's interested in reducing carbs that are not on low-carb diets," said Dan Trott, executive vice president of sales and marketing. "It's a relatively small portion of the population that's actually on the low-carb diet."
So... it is coming to you soon, wherever you are! And, I think this strategy is right on! If you can have excellent pasta, more fiber, and less carbs, people will buy it. Only some nutritionists will say it is bad for you and you shouldn't eat it because it is part of a reduced carb regimen, and the body needs lots of carbs.
19 net carbs per serving?! Without any added pasta sauce or anything else?
That's even worse than the "low" carb Lean Cuisine meals that have 15 carbs... I need to eat more than one meal per day!

Mueller's is the best tasting low carb pasta I've tried. I only had the spaghetti, but will try the lasagna soon.

Try Dreamfields made by Dakota Growers Pasta Co. Carrington ND. Honestly, you cannot tell it from the "real" thing. It does not cook to mush, etc. You will have to check the label for the particulars but it is truly a low carb--I think 5 digestible carbs per serving.

My favorite restaurants have used Growers Pasta for a long time, but now I can buy (and eat) Dreamfields anytime I want without gaining. It really is delicious and "al dente", thanks to that special wheat.

Mueller's reduced Carb Pasta is the only reduced carb pasta. I live in Florida and publix supermarkets sold the product. They took it off the market and replaced it with Dreamfield which is NOT a low carb poduct.
So, now I am forced to never eat pasta again.
Thanks Mueller you were probably paid off.
